FOR FEMALES, you may experience absence of your menstrual periods
while using this medicine. If you experience irregular menstrual
periods, contact your physician. YOU SHOULD PERFORM REGULAR self-examinations
of your breasts. If you have questions about how to perform monthly
breast self-examinations, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
DO NOT use this medicine if you are pregnant. IF YOU SUSPECT THAT
YOU COULD BE PREGNANT, contact your doctor immediately. Contact
your physician as soon as possible if you experience frequent or
persistent erections of the penis, nausea, vomiting, change in
skin color, swelling of the ankles, or headache. There is an increased
risk in developing prostatic hypertrophy and prostatic carcinoma
while using this product. IF YOU HAVE DIABETES MELLITUS and use
insulin, this medication may affect your blood sugar and insulin
requirements. Check blood glucose levels closely and consult your
doctor before adjusting your insulin dosages. IF YOU WEAR CONTACT
LENSES and you develop problems with them, contact your doctor.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: Side effects that may go away during treatment,
include: nausea headache, mood changes, or changes in sexual desire.
If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK
WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience ankle or
finger swelling, headache, weight gain, nausea, vomiting, or change
in skin color. FOR FEMALES: check with your doctor as soon as possible
if you experience deepening of the voice; acne; absence menstrual
periods; breakthrough bleeding, spotting, or change in menstrual
periods; breast tenderness; or growth of facial hair. FOR MALES:
check with your doctor as soon as possible if you experience frequent
or persistent erections, or acne. If you notice other effects not
listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
